This digital painting was one I produced as a chapter opener for my book, "Remnants of Eden: Evolution, Deep-time, & the Antediluvian world." In it we see an image of the cross, the torn veil between man and God, and below the Serpent and the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, from which - one may notice - the cross above grows from.
