Early in my professional career, I was tasked with proving my artistic skills and knowledge of biology. The assignment I was given was to produce a full-page illustration of the relationship between aborted fetuses and vaccine production. I completed the piece with the science of the process as a backdrop, and let my creativity run on the foreground image. I became the staff illustrator of that magazine after I presented them with the result.

This digital painting was produced with Autodesk Sketchbook and Adobe Photoshop. In producing this piece, I discussed details for my concept - which would accompany an article - with the editor of SAVED Magazine, Afshin Yaghtin, who then gave me complete creative control over the project.
